Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Ontario is a 49-bed, acute care hospital, serving Ontario and the surrounding communities in eastern Oregon and southwestern Idaho. Services include laboratory, diagnostic imaging (mammography, ultrasound, CT scan, mobile MRI, nuclear medicine), respiratory therapy, sleep disorders center, occupational therapy, hospice, midwives, diabetes education, Goldencare medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, outpatient oncology, home care, immediate care clinic, occupational medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, durable medical equipment, sports and orthopedic medicine.
Malheur County also has several health care facilities, which offer fast, friendly service. Ontario has Advance Life Support ambulance service (ALS) by a professional company. Adrian, Jordan Valley, Vale and Nyssa have basic Life Support (BLS) provided by local volunteer ambulance crews. Malheur County levies a special assessment county wide to support ambulance service.
Nyssa and Vale have one or more medical clinics and dental service. Ontario has several dental services, as well as orthodontic and oral surgery service.
